Exciting changes coming to the Workday homepage this January!

Inbox Reimagined

In an effort to streamline and improve usability, the Workday “Inbox” is being moved to ‘My Tasks.”  The “My Tasks” feature will have enhanced search capabilities and will enable high-volume users to easily filter, sort, and search for their tasks, as well as save their searches.

Benefits & Pay Hub

Replacing the individual Benefits App and Pay App is a new, combined, Benefits & Pay Hub. You will find it as a new app in your Application Menu. This is the new location to view your tax documents, payslips, and update benefit elections.

Jobs Hub

The Careers application is being updated to the Jobs Hub. New opportunities are continually posted to the Jobs Hub for our employees to explore. If you are a hiring manager or search committee manager, please access the Job Requisition Workspace application for recruiting resources. Students who are interested in working on campus, or for off-campus work study can also use this app to access the Student Job Board. 

New Workday User Interface

On Saturday, September 10, Workday will update its user interface to a brand new look!  All functionality on the Workday homepage will still be there in a new format.  A new section of the homepage contains Timely Suggestions reminding you of important activities such as reminders to submit your time or upcoming registration appointments.  A new Menu in the upper left corner of every page is where you can access all your familiar Apps and Worklets.

Workday Availability / Freeze

In preparation for our Workday Student move to production, new student employee hiring will be frozen from February 8th through March 1st.  Student employees who previously exist as workers in Workday can be rehired during this period.  Students currently working during this period will continue to work and be paid as usual.

Additionally, there will be a Workday production freeze beginning Wednesday, February 24th at 4pm until Monday morning, March 1st.  Workday will be unavailable for all functions during this time.  Please contact [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
